I find this book very good to learn Vietnamese language. It is well-organized book actually. Learning process was divided into five sections. You will be learning the alphabet, grammar and the 300 common and most useful words by Vietnamese. Plus, learning the 100 common sentences are truly give you the confidence to speak Vietnamese language fluently. Great learning guide.
Whoever "wrote" this paperback is way out of his/her depth. Bad english, bad Vietnamese. The text is almost incoherent. Learning this way means you will be misunderstood, no matter where you travel in Viet Nam.
I've studied several languages, but this was the first book I bought for studying Vietnamese. It's poorly organized and overall, it doesn't make much sense. Very hard to follow.
