Finally, their lively writing style and focus on the quirky and interesting makes one truly want to explore where they are visiting, not just hit the tourist must-sees.I used the digital version of this guide book recently, and I'm from the area. Not only did I re-visit old haunts long forgotten, but I learned new things about my own stomping ground.Highly recommended.
This book was informative, and helpful on a recent road trip through the Southwest. The index needs improvement. Several times there was a restaurant (e.g. the Owl Bar and Cafe) or an entire town that I looked for in the index, but it wasn't listed. Later I would find that there was information about the place in the book, but I didn't find it until too late, because it wasn't in the index.
Comprehensive guide, planned a two week trip from it. Got us unlost when we took a wrong turn in the desert, no joke. My favorite LP book.
Using as a guide to find photographic opportunities in my part of the country. This is perfect for my use.
Very helpful in planning our trip - hope it proves as helpful while on the trip! My husband was hoping for more info on Hoover Dam and more maps and times of travel from place to place.
