Their's not many commentaries for the Old Testament that are geared for the lay person. Mr. Wiersbe's commentary is easy reading, insightful, and filled with Biblical theology. I've read through the Bible on several occasions but in doing so you miss a lot of pertinent information in your haste to get through. Mr. Wiersbe, along with John MacArthur and James M. Boice, have the God given gift and ability to pull information from throughout the Bible to reference the topics in the commentary books. All those other difficult commentaries you haven't read, they have, and they bring this knowledge to their commentaries. As always, they show how the Old Testament is preparing the way for and referencing the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Daniel was a godly man and a man of integrity. Throughout the book Mr. Wiersbe reflects on how Daniel and his friends always gave the glory to the Lord. He easily explains the visions and the time frames and significance of the visions and the end times.

I read this book because I love prophecy, and this is a great prophecy book,as a master of fact I don't believe one can understand the book of revelation without understanding the book of Daniel,"about 21 images in the book of Daniel are found in revelation "and this commentary goes over and reviews basically ever sentence in the book of Daniel, but outside the prophecy aspects of Daniel, weirsbe also reviews the life and resolve of Daniel,and his absolute power in his prayer life and the complete sovereignty of God, and how GOD's sovereignty is an absolute comfort for the believer.

All Warren Wiersbe's Be series books are great . . . we use them as a study guide for our Bible study.

This isn't your typical book about male strippers. When I think of strippers I think of chippendales. This was much more than that. The book revolves around an investigative reporter named Sally. She is forced to go on an eight week tour with a local male stripping company and write about their lives on the road and what it's like being on stage every night. Sally, of course, does everything she can to get out of it, but in the end, sucks it up and leaves on their tour bus. What she doesn't expect to to find is most of these men are funny, charming, witty, and smart. Not your stereotypical male strippers. There are 1 or 2 that have women every night but even one is engaged. She also doesn't expect to become part of their tight knit family and to actually fall in love while on the tour. Ava made this such a funny and light hearted read that you can't help but feel good after reading it!! Can't wait to see if there will be any more books in this series or if this will be a stand alone!! Highly recommend this!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I was excited to read it after a teaser and who doesn't want to read about hot strippers! This book is so much more!!! Sally has been sent off for 8 weeks as an investigative reporter, she is less than happy. What she finds in the eight weeks she is with the male strippers changes her opinions about them completely! This made me view them differently also! All the character have depth and you will fall in love with Tiny! There is a great story line of friendship and companionship this book isn't all sex and no story! I also love the British accents since Im a southern gal words like whilst and arse were fun to read! Also she put links to music videos in the book I had recently read another book like this but didn't actually listen to the music, this time I did and it really added to my imagination while reading the book and created a better picture in my headI hope there is a book two in this series! Great job Ava cannot wait to read more of your amazing work!

I read this book in less than 24H so I guess I liked it :)I had never read a book about strippers and I enjoyed to know about the routines and choreographies, the group itself and the musics the book gives us is very good, putting us in a good mood!I must be honest and say that I expected a lot of explicit sex in this book, but no... not at all, the author gives us a little bit, almost teasing us, hahahaI loved the last show and the comments Alex's mother gives! Crazy woman!!I hope Alex and Sally get along for good and I want to read about the rest of the group too!

I'm a girl who never has gone to a strip club and I thought it would be gross to go see male strippers but this book has changed my opinion! It has my emotions all over the place and that's a key factor i look for in a good book. It has frustration, helplessness, true friendships, funny, sad, thrilling and of course hot sexy moments. If you want to read a good smexy book but don't like a lot of hardcore sex or crudeness, this is a great book for you! Great job Ava!!

I really enjoyed reading book 1. Once I started it had a hard time putting it down to do something else or even taking a break to go for a walk. Can't wait to find out what else happens in the series, or if the characters from book #0.5 continue from where they left off. Hopefully there will be more to come.

I couldn’t wait to see what craziness was in store next for Sally and the men of Naked Nights.This book is a funny, sweet, and sexy read… This is a girls dream come true, spending eight weeks with gorgeous guys who dance and strip for a living. The Naked Nights group is an upscale group of strippers who work very hard to put on a great show for their followers. The group has quite the eclectic collection of men; from Tiny the kindhearted giant, Alex the sweet heart who doesn’t fall for all of the sex-crazed harlots at their shows, to Guido the man-whore who will be happy to take any girls up on an offer for a quickie.Throughout this book we have the fun stories of the outings that Sally has with Tiny and Alex. They have her doing things she never dreamed of: like working out in a gym with them training her. Sally does begin to open up more and the guys definitely grow on her. She discovers how important it is to not judge a book by its cover, because you might miss out on some really great experiences. Some of the things that Sally would say just cracked me up, (Sally says this after watching Alex practice a routine prior to a show):‘Watching Alex on that stage sure as hell made my foo foo clench. It was sensual and erotic.’Yes this book has some amazingly sexy guys, but it doesn’t focus on sex. It is a story told from the point of view of Sally and Alex, we get to experience their escapades on the road, at the shows, at the gyms and in their hotels. We also experience some increased drama that comes into Sally’s life and she quickly learns just how much she has grown to love this group of men. I am so happy to see that this is Naked Nights book 1; I want to read more about this group of guys. I can’t wait to see what Ava Manello is going to give us in the future books of Naked Nights….

I'm in my 30's and my best friend in her 40's and she LOVED it and sent me these photos as she went through it with jokes about what I'd written. For someone who enjoys thoughtful gifts that take a little time I recommend it, especially if you can play with your answers a bit. It would be nice if it had other things more related to memories you share, but it was still fine. I also cut out a few little pictures and taped them inside for fun.

I saw this book and thought it would be such a great birthday present for my best friend - I know she will appreciate the thought and sentiment that I’m planning to put into it. I ordered it early so there would be plenty of time to come up with thoughtful answers for the questions (I’ve got till January!) This book is really cute - even though I paid attention to the dimensions I was still surprised at how small it was. It’s just hard to imagine such a little book. It is about the size of the palm of my hand.There are some fun prompts in this book although they do seem a little repetitive, so you’ll have to be thoughtful to fill out this book without giving the same answers for multiple prompts. The prompts are pretty open ended too, so you can be creative with your responses. For example: “you ___ the best ___ ever” or “I am so ___ that ___” could be filled in with so many different answers. I also like that the pages have a lot of blank space so I can write long answers or additional memories on the page if I want to. I’m going to enjoy filling out this book, and I’m sure my friend will love it. If you’ve got a sentimental best friend of your own, I’d recommend giving this book a try.

I bought this for my best friend for Christmas and she loves it!I knew it was going to be pretty tiny (smaller than my hand) but I wanted something cute and simple.The prompts are easy and short, but it makes it so much easier to add your own flair to it!I printed outhe pictures for each page and she loved it.This is great if you are looking for a short, heart felt present!

I absolutely love this book! I think it's the perfect size novelty gift for sentimental besties. It was so overwhelming at first! There are 50 pages to fill in, some with multiple blanks! I was so overwhelmed I put it back in the envelope it came in and let it sit for 2 days before braving the creative brainstorm. I found that thumbing through and filling in the pages that came to me really fast got my creative juices flowing and then once I got back to the hard to answer questions later, it was a breeze to fill in.My only complaint is pictured well in the #31 & 38 page. The second "they're" down on the right. No pen would write on that area of the page!! It was so frustrating. I really didn't want that word to stand out and it absolutely does because I had to go over it so many times to make the ink stick...I don't think that's a reflection on the product though. I have this issue in cards and on post it notes. That's just a common problem, frustrating but it is what it is. This book is well made and sturdy. I'm very impressed considering how cheap it was to purchase.I'd recommend writing out what you want to write for each page before actually writing it in the book. Or maybe write it out lightly in pencil and then trace over in pen. Then erase the pencil later once the ink dries.I read a previous review that said the same thing and I was like pfft, I'll be fine. No. I made stupid little mistakes writing too fast, skipping a letter in a word and then having to fix it. So it looks like I'm a sloppy writer. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I'll be reordering and starting over lol I want this to be perfect. It's hard to come by great thoughtful gifts like this. I'll be printing out pics and buying stickers to spice it up a little.

My 9 year old son gave this to his best friend who is living abroad and will be celebrating his double digit birthday next week.The book is small (about 4-5" long) and has 50 questions for the Receive to fill out. We spent a good hour going through each question. I typed the answers and the next day my son used these answers to fill in this book. My son enjoyed thinking deeply about his friend and how he has impacted his life in a positive way. We are sure that birthday boy will love this book.

I got this to put in a care package for my best friend, who is a Navy wife. She loved it and we had fun trying to see if I remembered what I had filled in. I was satisfied with the purchase.The star subtraction is because I wish the pages were more conducive to being written on. The paper is the gloss like the picture section in the middle of a hardcover memoir. I have pretty good handwriting but it was still hard to make it look nice AND avoid smudging.I also wish there were some that had more than one blank, kind of mad libs-style, just to mix it up.

I got this for my best friend who is moving across the country soon and it was adorable to make and to watch her read. I had to write out all the prompts on a separate sheet of paper though so that I wouldn't repeat myself. Doing that I found that a couple of pages were pretty much duplicated but it wasn't too much of a problem. Overall it was a good going away/holiday gift and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to give something sentimentalish to someone.

Super cute and cleaver. Highly suggest going through and writing out the answers before you actually print them in the book. You might be able to use the same answer for something better. I could have written the same answer on about 5 pages but I wanted it to make it more cleaver. Although, I did use the same answer more than once when it really applied and make me think hilarious thoughts. This is very compact and while I was expecting something bigger, I'm glad it is this small and portable and doesn't cause clutter in ones home. :)
